The UNC Charlotte Urban Institute in partnership with Bank of America, Honeywell, Duke Energy, and Charlotte Center City Partners is trying to better understand the landscape of small and minority-owned businesses and the infrastructure to support them in Charlotte-Mecklenburg. Of particular interest are the barriers to starting and maintaining minority-owned businesses as well as the infrastructure and strategies needed to start and sustain these businesses.
UNCC Urban Institute would like your participation in a brief online survey. Your input will provide invaluable context and inform local funding decisions around advancing racial equity and economic opportunity for small minority-owned businesses in Charlotte-Mecklenburg.
The survey will help small businesses communicate barriers and opportunities to a myriad of organizations including but not limited to financial institutions, government and support organizations. Your responses will be treated as confidential and will not be linked to your identity. Survey responses will be combined with those of other respondents and summarized in a report.
The survey should take approximately 15 minutes. Please feel free to start the survey and complete it at a later time if you use the same computer and the same browser to finish the survey.
At the end of the survey, you will have the opportunity to enter into a drawing for one of twenty $20 gift cards.
Please find the survey link below. Please feel free to send this survey link to other small minority-owned businesses.
Please complete the survey by Friday, February 5th.
Thank you,
