Cultural intelligence can be understood as the capability to relate and work effectively across cultures.  Also known within business as "cultural quotient" or "CQ", cultural intelligence is a theory positing that understanding the impact of an individual's cultural background on their behavior is essential for effective business and an individual's ability to engage successfully in any environment or social setting.

This workshop is designed to give participants initial insight into eight essential dimensions of cultural business competence and equip them with a basic framework by which they can begin to think about their own culturally based perceptions and behaviors and recognize how those impact their success in the global business area.
